Smash! Crack! Screech! ¨I did it!¨ yelled Eva. I grabbed my screwdriver and twisted the screw out. The nail popped out of the laptop and landed with a rattle on the table. I started to unscrew the last screw on the phone that I brought in. To look at the inside of the phone I had to get the edges apart, so I tugged at both sides of the phone and finally managed to pull it apart. It looked incredibly interesting. It all began with students bringing in old and broken appliances. This morning would very different and exciting. The excitement grew and grew and passed around the classroom. I could hardly wait to get started… Inside the phone it was complicated. Wires and screws lay there doing nothing. The bits and pieces inside looked like mini cities for aliens. ¨I didn't think it would be so intricate!¨ I thought. By Charlotte Mo
